Trusting

But remember the LORD your God, for it is he who gives you the ability to produce wealth, and so confirms his covenant, which he swore to your ancestors, as it is todayDeuteronomy 8:18

The enemy doesn’t want you to succeed and he knows the only way he can stop you is by attacking your faith in the promises of God. It will look sometimes as though there is no way your business can survive, but there is a way. Push through. Pray. Listen to the Holy Spirit as He guides your steps. Be obedient and trust.

This was taken from https://getupministry.wordpress.com/2011/05/29/7-fundamental-principles-of-doing-business-the-christian-way/  Click here to read the entire article.

As I think about Trusting God for my business, it puts the ONUS on him.  I have to make sure that I am being Holy Spirit led in all of my transactions and business dealings.  In doing this, I believe I will succeed.  It won’t be a mystery, at least not to me.  Because I am aware of who is guiding me.

This reminds me of another scripture:

Proverbs 16:9King James Version (KJV)

A man’s heart deviseth his way: but the Lord directeth his steps.

Here is a group for Businesses to stay in touch with the spiritual side of work.  And yes, there is a spiritual side of work.  We tend to separate work from God.  But as Christian, God should be a part of all that we do.

Chaplain Services and Consulting can provide Prayer Counseling (We are not licensed counselor), Prayer for your Workplace/Business and/or Devotions for your Employees.  We are in the Boise area if you need someone to come on site.

Mackey and Nek’ka Migel have a combined number of years of prayer counseling experience and 1-1 Discipling experience.  Nek’ka has traveled with a Healing Minister to a few cities for healing meetings.

We have seen God move in our life in the area of finances, healing and relationships as well as in others.   Nek’ka has served in a number of denominations and has a good grasp on many religions when people have come with prayer concerns while in their own denominations.

If we can be of service to you, let us know.  There is an annual fee and we can discuss this.

Have a most blessed day in the LORD that made Heaven and Earth.

What bridge are you at?

Where are you now?

And where do you hope to be or want to be?

Have you figured out a way to bridge the gap between where you are and where you need to be? Can I help you? Let me know.

Below are some inspirational YouTube videos by Jim Rohn who quotes scriptures and has had success in life and his business life. I believe some of his speeches might inspire you and help getting you from one side of that bridge to the other side.

Listen to these motivational talk with the ear of God. Subscribe to the truth. I always tell those around me, it’s not my opinion that matters, but what is true. So if this man can share some truths with you, I would suggest being on the side of truth. Not his side, but the side of truth.

My story for getting from one side of the bridge to another happened from perseverance. I kept putting one foot in front of the other. I had to keep deciding to not give up. It was not a one time decision. I still have to decide even today, to not give up.

As I come to a bridge, I have to purposely decide to cross that bridge. We can see that we are approaching a bridge of success. And we have a choice to cross or not cross. There are bridges of despair that we can avoid and not enter a road of bitterness. We have a choice.

There are bridges with turning points. Can you imagine one of those bridges that swings and you are on this bridge that can transport you to a different path? You can probably remember some time in your life when you were at a turning point and you had to make a decision: to keep going, status quo or make a change, even a slight change.

Consider you current path. Are you on a good path or do you need to take a swinging bridge off that path? Again, let me know if I can help or pray for you.

Praying for your good health, for your good fortune and for your well being, today. Keep your eyes on Jesus!

Sincerely and

In Christ Name,

Nek’ka Migel

Single Moms and Their Busy Schedule

I was just thinking about my adult girls, now, who seem to have less time for devotions while they are in college. When I went back to college after my ex husband divorced me in 1996, I had two little girls, 1 and 2 years old.  I was going for my Bachelors in Business in a 14 month program.   I was still a Christian, attending church and needing to do my daily devotions.   So I was reading through my daily bible which gets you through the entire bible in a year and I prayed regularly. My encouragement today to busy Single Moms is to make your priority list.   Hopefully, God is first in your life.  If He is, then make sure you have your time with Him.  Read your word.  Pray. Sing to Him.  Make time for God!

As for my girls, I love them dearly and I have to let them do what they feel they have to.

As for me, I choose to put God first and get my devotions done early in the day,  even if it means getting up earlier so I can get it done before the interruptions of the day happen.  It is a priority for me.  After I finished my degree as a single mom of two young ones,    I was still progressing in my faith with God, I was still able to minister to other people scripturally because I was in the word regularly.   And I didn’t have to play catch up or renew my faith once I was done with college though it’s not a bad idea to do that whenever you sense the need.

Suppose I had gotten lukewarm while in college because I let my devotion time go?  How would I have recovered?  Would I have recovered?

So I want to encourage Single Moms who have that big thing on your plate, a business, school, work or some large project to find the time to meditate, to read, to pray, to get alone with yourself and God.  You are worth it! And God Loves You, the Single Mom!
