“With my whole HEART I have sought You; Oh let me not wander from Your commandments!” Psalms 119:10
“Give me understanding, and I shall keep Your law; indeed, I shall observe it with my whole HEART.” Psalms 119:34

These verses are simply a sampling of the numerous times the Psalmist refers to following God’s instruction with a whole heart. When God repeats Himself, we need to listen more closely than usual. When He is extremely repetitive, the point is clear, and we are compelled to obey enthusiastically. In order to get the results promised by God, we should abandon ourselves fully to Him from the heart. These verses teach us to not only to seek God whole heartedly but also to be diligent and not “wander” from God’s commandments. This quality of steadfastness is pointed out in Jeremiah 29:13. “And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for me with all your HEART”.

Ponder This – Do you find yourself obtaining only limited success in your Christian walk? Is it possible that you are exerting limited effort? Tap into your heart fully to experience unlimited results.

After reading this post by Gary Meuser, I had some thoughts:

Recently, I was challenged in my inner most being to seek a closer walk with God. It came from listening to other preachers on YouTube.

I am amazed at how we can settle for status quo because we don’t know to seek more.

Now that I know, I am seeking for more of what is available to me from our heavenly Father in Heaven who made the Heaven and the Earth. I have been so blessed in my relationship with God in the past and I wonder why I stopped seeking him so fervently.

I have had such deep experiences in seeking his presence and not just his hand in what He can give me. I just want to be with Him…close to Him.

My prayer for us all who are seekers of God Almighty, is to continue seeking and never stop seeking. I believe as we earnestly and honestly seek God, he will answer our hearts desire to know Him more and experience more of HIM!

Be blessed in the Lord as you follow Him!
