Quit beating yourself up… for trying to do something, for trying to do better.

write it out,
then set dates for working towards the dream even if it’s dates for finding a dream based on your passions and desires to help a certain group of people, for instance.

He talks about, “Guarding your mind against negative programming”. (I put a couple of his books below.)
“Quit listening to negative people” who have not done anything, who are not doing anything, and who may never do anything.
One of the rules is that you should be taking advice from people who are where you are or where you want to go. Don’t take advice from people who have not done what you want to do and are not accomplishing anything especially in the area that you want to accomplish something.
There is a scene from a popular TV movie where the teenage guy is giving his buddy dating advice for getting a girl. The advice didn’t work. Why not? Because it wasn’t already proven by the person giving the advice. In fact, the friend giving the advice didn’t have a girlfriend.
Be careful who you listen to. Consider the source.

I am now following my dreams and talking to less people who can’t help nor give me positive feedback to try this OR SOMETHING BETTER.
What you are trying might not be for you or the right vehicle…but at least you are trying. Keep it up. Tweek it. Re-adjust your goal dates. Think through possible incomes. Get many advisors…but the right ones. And many advisors just means more than one other person and yourself.
Stay away from negative competition and people who will want to one up you. Sometimes, I think people have Junior High mentality though we are all grown…at least age-wise. So truly…consider the source…inspect their fruit.
Robert Kiyosaki talks about knowing the difference between someone’s opinion, if it’s fact or even a principle. When someone spouts off an opinion, ask them if they can guarantee it. Robert Kiyosaki also wrote, Rich Dad Poor Dad
Rory Vaden, on YouTube, talks about how things matter. Is it Important…does it really matter? Is it significant—over a course of time, will it matter long term? Is it urgent—How soon does it matter? When you are looking at your goals, sometimes it is planning NOW for the future. Even a future inheritance for your kids and your kids’ kids. Just keep going. Don’t stop. Rory also wrote Take the Stairs: 7 Steps to Achieving True Success
