What to blog about today, April 21, 2017?

I am currently reading How to Flip Your Financial Future by Doug Addison. It is my homework assignment from my business mentor.
I am also working on a Hang Out time for single moms through Single Moms Unite!, LLC. I hope to have a good turn out. This month, we are trying to encourage single moms to get their wills done or at least get some information about it.
As a single mom, I never thought much about an official Will. I did write something out and have it notarized. But nowadays, you can get a lawyer prepared Will done relatively inexpensively. As for me, my kids are all over 21 now.
So, today is Friday. It is my blog day. I also sing tonight with the Celebrate Recovery Band. So I just finished practicing my part at home. I do harmony. (Celebrate Recovery is for hurts, habits and hangup!… Not just drugs and alcohol.)
I love to sing. That’s how I met my current husband.
He asked me to sing with him for our Singles’ group. And while practicing, we talked and prayed together. When the four weeks of practicing were done and it was time to sing before the singles’ group, I felt like I was going to miss my new friend. So we went on a hike at his suggestion and the rest is history.
We have been married for four and half years and we are currently discussing what God would have us do as a married couple. You’ll have to stay tuned to see how that develops.
Meanwhile, as he works the 9 to 5 job and I do the entrepreneurial thing, we minister to others when given the chance. We regularly pray with each other and read books, currently, This Momentary Marriage by John Piper, to each other. And we get ministered to as well.
You can’t always give out and never get filled back up. We might call that an imbalance. We attend a Christian Church for some of our filling up, as it were. We were able to make it to the 7:45 am service for Easter.
Well, besides working with Single Moms, I am also launching Chaplains for Businesses to pray for small business owners for their upcoming events or decisions or just to provide a space for them to pray in their own offices. Check out my website at choose-to-succeed.org to see links and previous post!
Well, that’s all for now.
I hope you all have a blessed day in the LORD.
If I can pray for you, let me know.
If you know a Single Mom, have her join the closed group on Facebook or contact me on my landing page on my web page, and click “Single Moms Unite!, LLC”, to get encouragement in her Faith, Parenting or Business (ideas).
If you know of a Small Business Owner needing prayer or would be open to Christian prayers, pass along their info or have them contact me via Facebook or my webpage.
Thanks, my peeps. That’s all for this Friday!
In Christ Name,
Nek’ka M.
