The Difference Between Heart Belief and Mental Doubts

“Faith involves an intimate relationship with God, where the will of God surpasses the desires of the human will. We must not allow doubt to rise up in our heart when we become aware of God’s intention to move giant obstacles on our behalf. Instead we must believe with all our heart that God will bring to pass all of his promises. The doubts that cause destruction and bring failure are those which mount up in our heart, not those that frustrate our minds. ” Read the rest in the link below.

Thanks for sharing, Gary Meuser from your book A Smarter Heart. This was a good reminder to remember that there is a difference between believing in your heart the promises of God which can be different from the doubts in your mind.

Thanks.

So dear Single Moms, I want to encourage you not to give up on your God given dreams. Not to give up on the word of God being true. And please don’t give up on your kids no matter how much they might be acting outside of their God given calling to be the children of God,
to honor their mother and father that their days may be long,
to worship God with all their hearts, mind, and soul. …
and so many other scriptures that tells children how to be, along with their natural bend towards their life calling.

Be encouraged, dear Single Moms!
God hears your prayers and he has an answer.

In Christ Name,

A Smarter Heart

“For assuredly I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his HEART, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says.” Mark 11:23″And he said to them, ‘Why are you troubled? And why do doubts arise in your HEARTS?'” Luke 24:38

Questioning in your mind the hope for a divine intervention by God does not in itself constitute unbelief. On the other hand, allowing doubt to become embedded in your heart will undermine your faith to a point of certain failure. Our faith is not rallied by repeatedly rehearsing in our mind a desired result. The power of positive thinking has nothing to do with believing that God will act providentially on our behalf. Faith is not a function of our intellect. Faith and the heart are working partners that do not require the assistance of a highly stimulated mind. Ponder This – Have you been caught in a trap of trying to increase your faith by increasing your intellect? Although increased intellect is helpful in many things, it cannot replace a believing heart in growing faith.
